Since Spring 2000, Johnson has taken us on a visually orgasmic ride with his graphical creations. As the head of publicity at the Iota Chapter at the University of Rochester, Chron-OS is responsible for pumping out 4 amazing fliers in just 2 semesters, not to mention 2 releases of the Iota Chapter website.

Johnson's fliers are noted for two very important components of a successful flier. 1) To promote the event. Too many designers out there are over-engulfed in their work that they forget what the purpose of the flier is for. Often it is impossible to find the date or location of an event on a flier being it's so obscured by other design items on the canvas. Johnson builds his fliers with this aspect in mind. All promotional details of the event are clearly indicated in a structural manner. 2) To be aesthetically pleasing. The art of catching a patron's eyes is another important aspect. A florescent yellow sheet of paper can catch a person's eyes but it's not very appealing. Johnson's designs offer incredible eye-boggling images, leaving one drooling over a flier for hours (ok maybe not hours).

Take his most recent flier (shown on left); by applying textures and a specular component to the yin yang ball shown, the viewer's eyes are immediately directed towards the center of the flier, while all the important details are cleary indicated at the top.
