What
is your most memorable PDP memory?
The entire fraternity experience has been rewarding. So I find
the entire pledging experience, crossing, and finally becoming
a part of the brotherhood all very memorable and I look forward
to what the future holds.
Something
you've always wanted to do:
I'm pretty interested in automotive performance and design, despite of my interest in medicine. So, I'd probably have to say driving an F1 car. Or something very close to it.
Hidden
Talents?
I play chess, paint, and cook. (The last two get the ladies all the time.)
Why
I Pledged Pi Delta Psi:
I wanted to become a part of something that
I could appreciate for the rest of my life. This hit me one night
during pledging, I was outside walking home on a cold February
night with my pledge brothers and started to quietly reflect.
I realized that what me and my pledge brothers had was more than
just a superficial friendship, but rather, a bond that I would
share with them for the rest of my life. I
realized then that we had already become stronger men.
Did you always know what you wanted to study and eventually pursue as a career?
My fascination with cars has always been a lifetime interest.
I grew up always wanting to drive fast cars. Eventually, before
graduating grade school I wrote a research paper on the McLaren
F1, then the supercar of its day. While reading and researching
I became interested not only in the performance of the car, but
the design and manufacturing of the F1. I realized that a career
related to studying the design of an automobile is what I wanted
to do. Fast-forwarding to high school…I went to a magnet school
similar to Stuyvesant in NYC, but they had preset "majors," and
I was enrolled in the Pre-Engineering segment of the school. During
my senior year, my school provides graduating seniors with an
opportunity to experience what professionals in their respective
fields do on a daily basis. I worked for Mercedes-Benz USA in
product analysis. It felt pretty cool to work for a car company
and even more so to work on projects engineers also worked on.
I finalized my decision to study mechanical engineering, and eventually
attend CMU. I have recently picked up an interest in biology/medicine
also, so I decided to major in biomedical engineering as well.
So what's so fatal about you? I don't see it...
Hahaha, my name always has people thinking of what I've done,
or what has happened in order for me to be named 'Fatal.' You
wanted to know what it means? Too bad. I can't say. Though I can't
reveal the meaning of my name, I invite anyone to come chill with
me and my bros for a night and I'll show you what kind of Fatal
damage we can do. Haha”
**Webmaster's Commentary: Your grammar is pretty fatal, how did you get into CMU?
