What is your most memorable PDP memory?

My most memorable PDPsi moment was at our Brother Unity Christmas Party on the semester we had crossed. All of my pledge brothers and I gathered together for dinner and a Secret Santa gift exchange. We joked about our semester, how much fun we had during pledging, and how hard it was at times. It was great to see how we accomplished something together. I truly felt a sense of brotherhood amongst all of us that night.

Something you've always wanted to do:

Travel to a third world country and do service projects like Habitat for Humanity. I want to see how the rest of the world lives. Knowing it and seeing it for yourself are two different things.

Hidden Talents?

I’m a computer geek. I like building computers and such, if I have the money to buy parts.

Why I Pledged Pi Delta Psi:

As a charter for PDPsi, my pledge brothers and I had the opportunity to research several organizations we could bring to campus. We contacted representatives, googled information, and asked others about their perceptions of different fraternities. While snooping around on xanga, I came across a picture of Helen Zia with brothers of Pi Delta Psi. At the time, I was working to bring Helen Zia to speak on the University of Florida campus. By many, she is regarded as one of the most prominent advocates for Asian American issues. She worked diligently on behalf of the Vincent Chin murder case in the early 80s. I was impressed to see a picture of brothers with Helen Zia. As a result, was motivated to do more research on the fraternity. As I got to know more about Pi Delta Psi, I began to recognize a distinct characteristic of the fraternity; these guys really care about culture. At different schools, many brothers were active in Asian American organizations. Also, through fraternity sponsored events, they were educating the community about Asian American issues. Once I had the chance to meet the brothers, we were sold on the organization. Our process only reaffirmed why I wanted to join this fraternity.

So, Jeff Goldblum ?

Yeah, ever since high school, people say I look like the dude. I dunno, he kinda looks creepy sometimes... I don't wanna be some creepy old dude. I hope I don't look like him when I get older, haha. Or, maybe I'll start a career as a Jeff Goldblum impersonator.. could always use some extra cash haha.

**Webmaster's Commentary: I guess if you ever get lonely, you can pick up one of his groupies. Just tell them you got tan from a movie shoot in Cambodia. That's if he even has any groupies...
