 What
is your most memorable PDP memory?
Even though I crossed in Fall 2K3, there are already too many
memories to choose. From pledging to crossing my Betas, it’s
memories for a lifetime. I guess my most memorial PDP memory was
during spring convention where I turned 21. It was my first convention
as a brother. It was cool seeing so many brothers from every chapter
and colony come out to that. The convention
just reinforced what brotherhood felt like, especially
when you have 150+ brothers crammed into the RPI house. It was
also kind of scary when brothers find out that you JUST turned
21.
Something
you've always wanted to do:
Ever
since pledging, I’ve always wanted to visit all the chapters
sometime or another. Other things that I’ve always wanted
to do? I’m sure there’s something, maybe move to California?
Hidden
Talents?
Hidden
talents? Hmmm…this is tough…but I got to pick the
ability to sleep anywhere. I remember while we were pledging,
we were chilling with the brothers at 5
am in the morning in front of the Rutgers’s house
and some of my pledge brothers were tired so they fell asleep
on the sidewalk. Ever since pledging, I got to say I can sleep
anywhere and that I appreciate sleep a lot more. I remember going
down to JMU to visit some friends and while waiting for them I
just slept on the curb and it felt perfectly comfortable.
Why
I Pledged Pi Delta Psi:
I
was unhappy about going to school at GW. So I felt that as long
as I went to this school I might as well do something useful.
My best friend had just crossed at Cornell (eeyore), and he was
telling me about Pi Delta Psi. I really liked what he had to say
and I felt that GW needed something like this brotherhood. GW’s
community is extremely apathetic and there is little unity among
the Asian groups. I felt that PDP was the
perfect unifying force. As a result our colony has a lot of diversity
that includes Filipinos, Chinese, Korean, Scottish, Indian, and Taiwanese.
Goatee…
Why did u start? When did u start? And what was the most exotic
thing you’ve used it for?
Hahahahaha, why am I only known for my goatee? It’s not
“hey he was the president of GW colony”, it’s
“hey it’s the brother with the goatee”. Psh,
you guys are just jealous that you haven’t gone through
puberty yet. But seriously, I started growing it when I was a
junior in high school, and I guess I was just too lazy to shave
and it apparently became my trademark. Hahaha exotic? Hmm…..that’s
a tough one… I mean I really shouldn’t disclose what
I do in the bedroom….did I say bedroom? And when I said
bedroom I meant nothing at all.
