What
is your most memorable PDP memory?
Wow, there are just so many, but by far, the most memorable has to be our first annual chapter banquet. Just watching the video alone, gave me a great sense of pride. To see all of the accomplishments that we had done in just a year and a half, to see how much everyone loved being a part of Pi Delta Psi, just gives me tingles. But back to the banquet there was just so much going on, the food was of course great, but it was just more than that, the brothers all being there, 36 brothers strong at that time, sharing the good times with them, it was pretty crazy. It was pretty much a culmination of what my pledge bros and I worked so hard for.
Something
you've always wanted to do:
I have always wanted to live on the beach, in paradise, like Hawaii. I can surf a little, and to live on a paradise, chillin’ on the beach with a drink, it just seems so perfect.
Hidden
Talents?
I really don’t know, I am pretty boring. I guess what I can say is that I can impersonate my pledge brothers pretty well. I even can imitate the way they walk. Its pretty scary.
Why
I Pledged Pi Delta Psi:
Back at home I never really had any sense of culture. My hometown has barely any Asian population, and I never really got in contact with that side of me. Coming to college, I still had no idea of what Asian Culture entailed. When the opportunity came around to charter a chapter of Pi Delta Psi, I jumped on it; it gave me a chance to really find out where my family has come from, it gave me a sense of what Asian culture is.
In memory of 911, I'd like for you to share your work you did at the firehouse honoring those who were lost on that day.
During my senior year of high school I was working on becoming an Eagle Scout, and a project we had to do was a community service project. With a friend of mine, we came up with a memorial garden with a pathway to it, dedicated to the fallen firefighters of our town at the firehouse. When we actually got around to starting work on it, the unfortunate events of 9/11 had occurred. Since we were so close to New York City, we felt it necessary to dedicate the garden to all of those lost on that day. It was a great thing to do for the community, and its still there to this day. I still see people go to the garden and sit on the bench we have in the middle, and it gives me great pride to know that we worked on that. It was a real honor.
I heard that walking into your room is torture for the soul. When is the last time you cleaned your room and can you share with us the "magic" you use to convince "guests" to actually want to go in there?
Haha, my room isn’t that bad. It used to be a real big mess. But when it comes to the “magic”…I’ll leave this line up for everyone else to interpret: “Hey! Where the party at? Girls are on their way cause they love Cardiac!”
**Webmaster's Commentary: What is a "tingle"? Oh and too bad those parties dont occur in your room… ( = 3 = )y- oO… ignore…
