The
Pi Delta Psi Academic Award
 |
The Pi Delta Psi Academic Award is
awarded to the individual who has achieved the highest academic
excellence. As one of the four pillars of this fraternity, academic
achievement is an important goal we strive to achieve. Through
education we can help educate others and ourselves on the different
Asian ethnicities, allowing us to overcome the obstacles set
forth, therefore unifying us as a whole.

The
Pi Delta Psi Award (aka The Odie Award)
 |
On the evening of Sunday, December
10th, 2000, David Wei Meng a.k.a. Odie of Cornell University
passed away unexpectedly. David was an exemplary brother, a
loving son, and a great friend. His dedication and love for
the fraternity brought Pi Delta Psi to new levels during the
short time that he was a brother. In honor of Odie's life, the
fraternity, along with other Asian greeks, has established the
Odie Award, also referred to as the Pi Delta Psi Award.
The Pi Delta Psi Award is awarded to an individual who has exemplified
what it means to be a brother of Pi Delta Psi. This particular
individual will have shown exceptional dedication to the fraternity,
as well as his outstanding contribution to the community. He
will have shown the conduct of an honorable man and the poise
of a great role model. It is a true honor for us to acknowledge
a brother's dedication to the fraternity by presenting this
award as a small token of appreciation, showing him what a true
inspiration he is to us all.
